We’ll pick you up from Urgench Airport, the train station, or your hotel in either Khiva or Urgench to begin your day trip. You can choose a convenient time to start, though mornings after breakfast or afternoons after lunch are ideal.

From Khiva, it’s about a two-hour drive to Chilpik Kala, also known as the Tower of Silence. This circular fortress was once used by Zoroastrians for sky burials. Bodies were placed here under the open sky for birds, and later the bones were gathered into clay or stone urns. Originally built in the first centuries CE, the site was reconstructed several times between the 7th and 10th centuries.

After exploring Chilpik Kala, we continue with a 40-minute drive to Nukus, where your tour ends. You can be dropped off at your hotel, the train station, or Nukus Airport — whichever is most convenient for you.
